Welcome to BechaaKena. Please read these terms carefully. They outline your rights, responsibilities, and our escrow buyer protection framework when buying or selling on Bangladesh’s trusted multi-vendor platform.
1. Acceptance & Overview
By creating an account, browsing, or placing an order on BechaaKena.com (including mobile applications and associated API integrations), you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into binding agreements under the Digital Security Act and Contract Act of Bangladesh.
BechaaKena operates as an intermediary marketplace bridging independent Bangladeshi merchants ("Sellers") with retail buyers ("Buyers"). Unless explicitly noted, BechaaKena does not take ownership of physical items sold by third-party stores.
Using our platform binds you to our merchant guidelines, buyer protection terms, and Bangladesh e-commerce regulations.
2. Account & Registration
To purchase or sell products, users must register using a valid Bangladeshi mobile phone number (+880) verified via One-Time Password (OTP).
- Users are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of login OTPs and passwords.
- Seller storefront verification requires Trade License, NID, and bank account details.
- Multiple duplicate accounts created to manipulate promo codes are strictly prohibited.
3. Payments & Escrow Protection
All financial transactions conducted via bKash, Nagad, Rocket, or Credit/Debit Cards are held securely in the BechaaKena Buyer Escrow Account until package delivery is verified by courier SMS tracking.
Available across all 64 districts in Bangladesh. Buyers inspect parcels before handing payment to courier rider.
Funds are released to seller bank accounts within 48 hours following successful order delivery.

Verified merchants must adhere to BechaaKena Service Level Agreements (SLAs):
5. Buyer Protection & 7-Day Returns
If a received item is damaged, defective, wrong size, or significantly different from store photos, buyers can request a replacement or refund within 7 calendar days.
Doorstep reverse pickup is arranged free of cost for defective items inside Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet, and major metropolitan zones.
6. Intellectual Property
All logos, codebases, custom UI components, photography, and brand graphics on BechaaKena are protected under Bangladesh Copyright and Trademark Laws.
7. Liability & Dispute Resolution
BechaaKena facilitates impartial dispute mediation between Buyers and Sellers. If an internal resolution cannot be reached within 14 business days, disputes are referred to the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) Bangladesh.
8. Governing Law (Bangladesh)
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
